Going forward, we will need relentless activism. When I say relentless, let me be even more direct, we need to devote every waking hour to communicating with our elected officials that we will end their political careers if they dare to vote against the American people on healthcare. Because they seem to think that their constituencies are the corporations.

Date: 2009-07-24 02:40 pm (UTC)I mean, Don was just diagnosed with Cancer on Monday. His surgery is scheduled for September, because it is not life-threatening. We've already seen about four specialists on this subject. We're not panicking because we don't need to pay for all this. (Although I'd love to go back to the UK, where his drug costs would be the same all the time.) The is no fear. There is no "Now I can't go back to school."
I don't know how we would live in the U.S.
