Burris was an power-hungry idiot for accepting it, especially in view of his first reaction to the scandal. And please don't insult my intelligence by telling me that you can't remember giving $14,000 to the Blago. That's just shite. But then the Dems brought this on themselves by not holding a special election, cause of fear that the Republicans would have taken the seat. The Blago was smart to pick a black guy, cause now race can be injected into the forum. But you know what? I agree with the Pres. Elect on this one. I do find it rather interesting, however, that he found time to comment on this, and not a word on the conflagration in Gaza.
