There was evidently no time in the 24-hr news cycle to explore how unemployed people with children to feed are managing during these turbulent times.
Now, now, now, only the elite count, remember? One of the things that pissed me the fuck off during the election was the emphasis on the middle class. not a WORD about the poor, hello, they didn't exist, and noone apparently missed them, in media or politics. And as the economic downturn grows, still little to no comment on their plight. But much or the travails of the rich would will, poor souls, have to cancel that Christmas trip to Paris or wherever...
