Ray Boltz I Pledge Allegiance to the Lamb
So when I used to go to church (and could bear to listen to gospel music), I dunno maybe 10 years ago? There was this song that was one of my favorites. Liked the video, liked the song, liked the voice. Used to show up every Sunday evening on that gospel song 1/2 hour program we (as in the fam) used to watch at 4:30pm.
Anyway. The point of this exercise is: I was fiddling around on Alas, a blog, and found out that he's apparently gay, (and seriously, go read this article, its very good) and luckily for him, his fam. supports him. In fact his wife runs a cool blog, my heart goes out where she shares her experience and how she dealt with it and became a straight ally to boot.
In the meantime, here's Ray's new song "Don't tell me who to love"
