This is my internet John Barrowman anecdote: Once a vocal homophobe was featured on stupid_free. Someone noticed that a huge chunk of this raging internet homophobe's (RIH)lj icons were of John Barrowman. People were puzzled. This was my theory: RIH had been put in charge of keeping an eye on teh gays. This was hard work so she decided to focus on a specific gay, one that had his or her own TV show for more efficient intelligence gathering on the Gay Conspiracy. Somebody else had already called dibs on Ellen and Rachel Maddow's show wasn't on yet.
