I'm very pale, however if I was that shade of pale, I would be asking to be hooked up to an IV because that just isn't natural.

You know I had lunch with Pakistani friends on Friday and Zaineb said to me, "The paler you are the more beautiful you are in Pakistan. You could be butt ugly, but if you're white, you're gorgeous." I've never actually heard someone flat-out articulate it. I remember the whitening creams in Egypt and it took me about five minutes in the supermarket to figure-out what it was for... that's when horrified, uncomfortable laughter kicked-in.

Idiots, it really is appalling. She is a gorgeous woman, but not with that horrible, sallow skin!!!

When my nephew was in the orphanage in Cambodia, they bleached his skin to make him look more white for prospective American & European parents >_< Now of course he’s back to his natural little dark skinned self…
