Pay attention to the fact that AMERICAN companies have helped the Chinese to develop a great deal of the equipment that they are using to oppress their own citizens. Also, FISA, the Patriot Act, people being arrested for trying to vote, A pair of DHS policies from last month say that customs agents can routinely--as a matter of course--seize, make copies of, and "analyze the information transported by any individual attempting to enter, re-enter, depart, pass through, or reside in the United States.", and and crossing the border is becoming a clusterfuck of gargantuan proportions, say NOTHING of the madness of tasers. EDIT: Oh yeah. and the FBI is spying on reporters. To say nothing of Vegan groups, PETA and the Catholic Workers group We DO seem to be traipsing merrily down a familiar looking path, don't we?
