No no no… Homosexuality was invented in the early 1980s by white men in New York and San Francisco as a direct attack on our Traditional Christian Family Values, and that’s why Jesus started giving them all AIDS….. And because we went against Jesus’ will and tolerated these people in our midst, Jesus allowed 9-11 to occur as a warning, Jerry Falwell said so before he died and went to hell

I think it’s easier to demonize homosexuals/bisexuals/transgendered people if you present it all as something new that these people invented, rather than a basic part of humanity that has always existed…

this has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with this post but...

Actually, in the grand spectrum of 10,000 years of recorded human history, homosexuality is relatively new, only being in use for about 200 years. In this I speak of the word, not the act. :)

I'm not sure when the actual word was invented, but I think its been in use since the 1830s.

And you're right about homosexuality only being attributed to effeminate white men (myself being one). John Amaechi said that when he came out, an elderly white woman came up to him and said something along the lines of, "I didn't know black people could be gay..."
