Shit, I read about the play that was supposed to premier in the museum that night. It was supposed to be a posthumous dialogue between Anne Frank and Emmett Till. It sounded like it could be interesting, or could be problematic, but if I lived in the area I might have wanted to see it, I might have even been there ... damn.

Also tasers need to fucking STOP EXISTING. The fact that ppl are actually accepting electrocution as a common thing to expect when dealing with the police and then BLAMING the ppl who are tasered as a result ... it's absolutely MADDENING! And are you following the Oscar Grant trial, where Mehserle, the cop who shot him, is actually saying to the judge with a straight face, "I meant to reach for my taser?" As if THAT would have been ok!
