GUILTY.

GUILTY! We have a verdict in the Angie Zapata Hate Crime Murder Trial: GUILTY!
Update: Allen Ray Andrade is guilty 1st Degree Murder, and guilty of the bias motivated crime count. Guilty on vehicle theft and identity theft. At 4:0015 PM MDT, he will be was sentenced to life without parole.

I'm sad that this trial even had to be, but I have to say this news made me go YES YES YES, uncontrollably.

I was so convinced he was going to get away with killing Angie. I can't believe he was found guilty. I can't believe it. I am so grateful that a jury rejected the idea that Angie deserved to die because she was trans. I just want to cry.

They really found him guilty. I'm so in awe. I'm not happy, but I'm grateful they saw Angie's murder as a heinous act.

I honestly don't know how to feel. I still don't believe that the judge did what he did. There are still many many more Andrades walking the streets, ready to strike down me and mine.

True justice would have been Angie driving to work today, blissfully unaware of haters like Andrade.
