Lou Dobbs talks about a little known fact to the American people about how the 2003 Tax Cuts were paid for. Little to everyone's understanding, the Social Security Taxes was increased while the Rich's taxes were lowered. It was very slick how this was sold to the American People.

Lou Dobbs of all people. If only he were this kind of populist all the time.

I like how they point out how this makes cutting social security benefits to anyone a total ripoff. Even if using the excess to pay down the debt wasn't an impossible lie, it's still money which should go back to those who paid it as the paydown was part of letting SS continue. Either way you cut it, the idea SS is going bankrupt is a lie.
