McCain's Rumoured Vice President

Sarah Palin? I thought being young and inexperienced was a problem? Or is is the whole, its okay if you are a Republican schtick?

EDIT: Ethics investigations? There goes the REzko attack!. Then again, tazering your stepson? I'd have gone after his ass too. Although firing the other guy was definitely a bit much.

The GOP has LOST their collective minds. Then again, we thought so when Bush ran and the fucker won. Who knows what might happen?

It's a very cynical choice. I think Obama forced McCain's hand by picking Biden. I also think McCain boxed himself in with his "HOMGZ I'm super pro-life" nonsense at saddleback. He would have *loved* to pick Lieberman I bet...

Just hope some on the democratic side can resist being crass and sexist just because she's on the other side.

off topic

That's kind of the same thing that ran through my mind, though the choice of Palin is very odd. There seem to be three plusses for her -- she's a woman (to help pull disgruntled Hillary supporters), she's blue collar (to help balance McCain's wealth), she's a Washington outsider. On the other side, she seems to have a lot of negatives (at least in how her experience is even less than Obama's and she's younger than him). (Plus, listening to her speak, she's terrible, though maybe others might find her charming)
