Dear Allure. What. the fuck. is this?

Guess who this is supposed to be

As Lizard OC put it: Jesus, take the mouse!

Apparently, once you have reached the right skin colour, you still have to change the facial features to make them un-freaking-recognisable. Cause nobody is beautiful enough. Can we tar and feather EVERYONE who greenlit this?

thanks

fuck you and the horse you rode in on!
(i'm just playing)

seriously though, for all that I preach about being natural, you just reminded me that even i still succumb to that airbrush, anything but me is better beauty bullshit.

my guy looked at my driver's license last night (my eyebrows were far too thin and i hate that picture) but he said i looked great and instead of taking the complement, i started citing everything i thought was wrong. he actually was shocked and cut me off, "would you just take the damn compliment!"

fuck foundation, modeling only and even then, if *i* gotta do it, it ain't happening.

Edit: this came about after looking at ALL the links from that blog.....dayum

Okay, sorry but I gotta say this.

I was reading the article and when they mentioned they airbrushed all the character out of her face my first reaction was.

"Carrie Underwood had character to begin with?"

Sorry. I was never really overwhelmed w/ her in American Idol because she appeared so bland and wooden. Doesn't change the main point of how much airbrushing is done these days...though I could still recognize her here.

Yes to tarring and feathering everyone involved. The fucking hell it looks NOTHING like her.

When I first saw the photo, I thought the kicker would be that it was a digitally createad image.

Just looking at the eyes, I thought that they had done something to Jennifer Lopez. I was totally shocked when I saw that it's Carrie Underwood. What the fuck did they do to her nose???

This is slightly out-of-hand.

And that's an understatement.

I'm not against the general idea of airbrushing, but the examples you've shown lately are out of control. They all look so obviously unlike themselves that it's almost like a parody of bad photoshopping. Except not.
