Oh wait. First skyward and now you? *lightbulb* I think I know what this is about, despite having a dumbz tonight.

Finally bought a ticket last week. I'll be the Other Tall Black Guy (assuming, of course, there'll be at least one, this year...)

This will be my fist WisCon. Assuming I get my passport renewed.

I went once. Brought a friend. It's a long one-day drive from Lansing, MI to Madison, WI. Only knew a couple other people there, who were pretty busy the whole time. It was kind of awkward, and I don't have any professional ties, social skills, or SF background, so I probably won't go again soon. But I liked Madison a lot, and the con itself was good. I just don't deal well enough with being thrown into a social deep end like that, and didn't have much to add to what was already being said, so mostly I fidgeted and retreated to the restroom a lot.

Might go again eventually. I don't know. I hope you have fun, though.

Me!

(And I wanted to mention-- I very much appreciate your continuous link posts to news and events and discussions of social justice relevance. A lot of times I just open them in tabs for future reading, and I don't comment to thank you, but I do value each post.)
