Truth in advertising: I know nothing of the Avatar story. I am barely aware of its existence.

However, is there some heavy plot reason that each nation has to even be a "uniform" race? I thought it had to do with the powers one used.

And, again, I'm ignorant here, but why no black people? And other races?

And that making the two nations under attack and genocide be white...well, that's just repulsive.

Should I avoid this movie? Or go with my kid ('cause I know he'll want to see it) and deconstruct it with a fucking axe?
