Yep! And as a New Yorker, their fixation on the tragedy of 9/11 seemed especially insincere and ridiculous to me - the types who promote this nationalistic bs didn't give a shit about nyc before, since cities are the sites of brown people/homos and others who are inadequately "all-American".
