What adds to the complication, of course, is that these are friends I like and family I love. I just get so tired of arguing with white people about this. We have this entitled way of arguing that just . . . well, I just can't take it anymore, so I shut up.

Hopefully I'll get ornery again someday because I don't want this to silence me but I just need a break.
